Katie spent many years as a self employed consultant, working on a wide range of projects. She specialised in enabling communication between different levels of staff, especially during times of radical change. She is now Commercial Manager and Senior Lecturer in Agile Software Development for CEPS.

Katie is research active within the area of computing and is a member of the HCI and Information Systems Research Group.

Full Profile

Katie takes the Commercial Group's lead for CEPS with its aim of co-ordinating links between research, teaching and industry. An example, in her own area of research within Agile Software Development Teams, is the continual two-way transfer of knowledge between local practitioners in the AgileNorth group, student undertaking the part time MSc Agile Software Projects in burst mode and action research projects taking place within the School.
