Lancashire Science Festival
Inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and mathematicians
Coming back in 2025
The Lancashire Science Festival is returning for 2025 between Thursday 15 and Saturday 17 May 2025 at our Preston campus.
On Thursday 15 and Friday 16 May we will be reintroducing our School Days, with Saturday 17 May being our Public Day.
The Lancashire Science Festival is a biennial celebration of all things Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM). The three-day extravaganza aims to enthuse, inform and inspire the next generation, with a spectacular showcase of the wonders of STEM. We have two days dedicated to primary school group bookings and on the Saturday, the Festival is open to all.
Check the website for updates or email us to join our mailing list.
Why is the festival becoming a biennial event?
This free event aims to help schools and families engage with and be inspired by STEM, creating positive memories that will last for years. The festival needs to remain fresh to have maximum impact. That is why we have decided make the Lancashire Science Festival biennial.
The next festival will run in 2025 and once every two years after that. This will maximise opportunity to evolve and develop the programme of activities for schools and families across the region.
